Crafted at our Ensenada, Mexico, manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender Vintera® II Stratocaster® neck features a slim “C” shape neck based on a classic’60s profile for an intuitive and inviting feel, while the 7.25 radius fingerboard with vintage-tall frets provides vintage comfort with ample room for big bends and expressive vibrato. Maple neck with a Slab Rosewood fretboard. Tuning keys not included. Neck finish is Gloss Urethane finish on back of neck with Gloss Urethane Headstock face. 60’s “C” shape neck profile. Fits Almost All Fender and Squier Brand Strat Bodies with a 4-Bolt Strat Heel Cutout – a “fifth” hole can be drill for attachment to a contour heel body. Fingerboard radius is 7.25 (184.1mm). White dot position inlays. 21 Vintage Tall frets. Vintage style Heel Adjust truss rod. Vintage Style Slotted Truss rod nut. The string nut width is 1.650 (42mm). Synthetic bone string nut. 25.5 (648mm) scale length. Vintage 60’s Style 2-Screw tuner compatibility. Neck thickness at the first fret is +/. Neck thickness at the twelfth fret is +/. The nut is pre-slotted with “pilot” string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing, and a gloss urethane finish offers smooth playability. For true Fender authenticity, it’s also serialized and stamped, with genuine “Original Contour Body” headstock decal. This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier® by Fender guitar. Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures.
