Crafted at our Ensenada, Mexico manufacturing facility, this genuine vintage-style 3-bolt Stratocaster® guitar neck features a comfortable “U”-shaped profile and 7.25-radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets. Although this neck features a 3-bolt design typical of’70s Strats, only the bottom two neck mounting pilot holes are available, giving you the flexibility to use this neck with many different guitar bodies. Maple neck with Maple fretboard. Tuning keys not included. Neck finish is Gloss Urethane finish on back of neck with Gloss Urethane Fretboard and Headstock face. Early’70’s “U” shape neck profile. Fits Almost All Fender and Squier Brand Strat Bodies with a 3 or 4-Bolt Strat Heel Cutout – Some hole drilling and fitting will be required. Fingerboard radius is 7.25 (184.1mm). Black dot position inlays. 21 Vintage Style frets. Bullet style truss rod and nut. The string nut width is 1.650 (42mm). Synthetic bone string nut. 25.5 (648mm) scale length. Vintage 2-Screw tuner compatibility. Classic 70’s Series. Neck thickness at the first fret is +/. Neck thickness at the twelfth fret is +/. The synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with “pilot” grooves for accurate spacing when filing the final string slots. The perfect way to give your Strat® authentic Fender feel, this replacement neck even sports the CBS era logo and a Bullet truss rod on the larger headstock. Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fret work, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures.
