This was removed from a new MIM Player Tex Mex Strat to be replaced by a new Player II rosewood neck. This neck was sanded smooth and multiple coats of Birchwood Casey Tru-oil gun stock finish was hand applied and buffed between each coat. Neck is polished to a brilliant, glass-like, silky smooth finish. There is zero fret wear. For the best fit and resonance, there should be 11/64 inch screw clearance holes in the guitar body.
