Vintage Strat Stratocaster Partscaster 1972 Fender Neck 1965 Fender Case
Looking to sell by Oct. Motivated sale, so offers are also great. I removed the strings and tuners to take quality pictures of this guitar. The guitar was assembled and playable under string tension. Info about this great vintage guitar. Bullet truss rod nut. Straight, original radius board (7.25 radius). Stamp dated neck, March (22 = Stratocaster) 1972 – B width. Medium U shape profile, not too thick not too thin. Extremely comfortable neck for soloing and chords. Small amount of checking on headstock. Single patent number logo, decal original. Double string trees with nylon spacers. Nice patina and honest wear on back and parts of fretboard edge. Low frets with some grooves/wear. Silver metal microtilt disk, for three bolt setup. Original tuner holes, no tuners included, schaller tuner mounting holes on back added, original tuner screw holes. Neck heel, one original screw on treble side is snapped off and both sides have unoriginal broken screws. Extra holes for mounting on this partscaster body. No clear signs of it being a Fender body. Contours and cavity routes are crude. Not a three bolt neck body, no microtilt. Possibly it is over routed, and over sanded, but no dowels are present, or nail holes, to indicate it is CBS or a Fullerton era Fender body. Heavy, about 5 pounds, unloaded. Original Fender 70s era one piece Synchronized Tremolo Bridge. Original numbered bridge block and original numbered bridge saddles. Tremolo bar/arm with black tip. Arm threads into the block and works fine. Five original screws, one short replacement. Five springs and trem claw as well. Black single ply pickguard. Plastic bobbin pickups, black covers. Sprague orange drop capacitor. Vintage five way switch. 1979 250k Volume Pot. 1974 250k lower Tone Pot. 1965 1966 Fender Case. Leather sides are mostly worn off. Orange inside has some staining. Needs work, latches do not work well. Smoke free, pet free home. Item is also for sale on other platforms and locally. It will be packed very well with care. Moving and downsizing my collection.
