This body started out light weight and was modified with a “smuggler’s cut” to make the build even lighter. This is a full build now and I do not have a weight for body anymore before having parts added, rest assured, it was the lightest body I could find at the time, and I did not care about paying extra when it was bought. The pickups are all Suhr pickups. The Humbucker is a Pete Thorn “Thornbucker” and the middle and neck pickups are the Suhr V63+ pickups. The wiring is special since there is a “Double Waffer” 5-way switch installed with jumpers and resistors in the correct places to make sure that 250k is going to the singlecoils and that 500k is going to the humbucker ensuring that the best tones are reached for all the pickups. The 5 way switch works as follows.. Position 1 – humbucker. There are no push-pulls, but the humbucker is splitting in position 2 where you would want it to be (easy to navigate and great sounding). Included are the strap locks that go to the strap buttons already installed on the guitar and back cover plate. I included 5 springs on the tremolo in case that is what you were looking for in that way. All hardware (excluding pickguard) has been aged. Neckplate has serial number stamped as well for fun. Note: last 3 pictures show body with neck attached for reference only… This guitar has no more than 4 hours play time on it.
