1974 Fender Stratocaster Neck. This neck has a code of “0903 1954″ which dates it to 1974. This one was re-fretted about a year ago and got a new nut. It was only played a few times since, so the frets are in perfect condition! The neck is straight and it’s in excellent playing condition. The fretboard is clean and the back of the neck have no dings or gouges. The headstock has small nicks around the edges and light wear on the top. The previous owner installed a new set of tuners but used the modern ones which have wider bushings. Some of the wood flaked off a bit when he widened the holes (three areas on the top and one on the back). The nut is 1.60″ wide, the neck measures 0.84″ thick at the 1st fret and 0.91 thick at the 12th fret. This part was removed from a genuine American made 1974 Fender Stratocaster. The serial number was “569223”, the neck had a 1974 date code, the pickups dated to 1974 and the pots dated to November 1973.
