Up for sale is a 1975 dated Fender Stratocaster guitar neck. The nut is replaced; also, it seems the neck was over sprayed very slightly on back of headstock, the back of the neck is satin and not glossy presumably for better playability. The sides of the neck have some old wear from use which is now under this thin coat. The headstock and fretboard may have been over sprayed as well, hard to tell. Cosmetically, nicks on the headstock. The frets are level and function well; they have a little life left but won’t need work for a long time. Hard to tell if any more dressing can be done without a refret. Truss rod turns but only about 3/4 turn and creaks. The neck played fine when installed, however, it has limited room due to this truss rod issue when it comes to fine tuning and intonation.
