Up for sale is a 1974 dated Fender Stratocaster guitar neck. It has various mods and issues. One, someone hacked the truss rod nut for a Floyd rose nut. When trying to adjust the neck, the truss rod slot is stripped out. I assume it needs a nut replacement, I don’t have any reason to believe the truss rod is damaged. Wood was replaced for Floyd Rose nut. Tuner holes were widened for late 1970s Schaller tuners size. Compensation ferrules can solve that. Otherwise, typical cosmetic wear to headstock and back of neck. Nothing out of line. The neck itself has a decent V-shape to the neck, thinner thickness and sharper shape than typical for the period. Neck is pretty straight and played fine when installed. Edges and fretboard have light wear, better than usual for the age. Frets have no significant wear; not sure if original. Done pro if not.
