The neck and tuner bushings are the only items for sale. There are a series of pictures showing a loaded body, neckplate and screws, and neck hardware. These other items are not included and not for sale. These are shown to demonstrate how the body could look as an assembled as a guitar. Please don’t ask if the other parts available. No trades, and please no lowball offers. I will not cancel the order once placed. This is a 1970 Fender Competition Red Mustang neck and tuner bushings. The pictures showing the neckplate, loaded neck, and loaded body are for reference only. Those parts are not for sale. So, here is the history of this neck. It was advertised as a 1968, but the pots and neck plate dated 1970. The body that came with it was poorly painted red, and hence the red paint on the heel. The neck has a lot of finish wear all over the entire neck. Large sections of clear coat are missing on the back of the neck. Please review all the pictures very carefully. The frets and fret board have wear on the first five frets. The neck is straight, and the truss rod works correctly. The nut looks to be original and is functioned as is. The neck profiles is more thick than thin. The butt of the neck does not have a date stamp. This is not uncommon for vintage Fender necks. I have seen it many times before. This is more of a relic (naturally worn) type of neck, and in my option would not go well with a pristine Competition Red body. Please ask all question in advance to purchasing.
