1972 Fender Stratocaster neck rosewood 1970 vintage
1972 FENDER STRATOCASTER ROSEWOOD NECK. This neck has great mojo, if you will. It’s an excellent playing neck, medium in size. The entire guitar has aged like fine wine, clearly it spent it’s life gigging. Most of the nitrocellulose lacquer on the headstock has flaked off, and there is plenty of natural wear all around, making for a smooth play. The frets are in decent shape, so is the brass nut, plenty of life left in them. This neck was re-fretted at one point. At another point it had aftermarket tuners, luckily only one screw hole was added for each tuner on the backside, and the slight routing on the six holes. Original tuners and bushings (not included) fit and cover up the six extra screw holes, and the routing. The bushings would need to be shimmed or glued in. Three-bolt rosewood necks are not as common as the three-bolt maple neck. This is a very cool piece to say the least! Please reach out with any questions.
