Up for sale is a 1973 Fender Stratocaster guitar neck. All other parts 1973. Also works for 1974. It has some issues. First, the frets are very low. They have divots on the first few as well. They probably need a refret. It may be playable as is for a little while but will need work in the near future at least. Second, humidity has caused the fretboard finish to flake off as in photos. The back of the neck has a superficial finish crack down the skunk stripe. The nut is missing, there is a small crack. The truss rod may have been overtightened. It does work well, and the neck is straight. So I do not consider it an issue other than cosmetic. Back of the headstock has cosmetic finish cracks. There are also finish imperfections on the face from moisture. The neck does need work, but it is a very usable neck. A refret, sanding, and new nut should be all that is needed for it.
