1992 FENDER STRATOCASTER CUSTOM SHOP ULTRA SET NECK (NAMM 1/1). RARE IS USED TO DESCRIBE MANY INSTRUMENTS. THIS ONE IS SUPER RARE. The production model of the 1992 Fender CUSTOM SHOP Ultra Stratocaster has a white pickguard and chrome hardware. This instrument has all gold hardware and aged pearloid pickguard. 1 11/26 Wilkinson dual roller nut. 2 point tremolo system. Certificate of Authenticity signed by John Page. (Co-founding Custom Shop Master Shop Builder) These Custom Shop guitars were built by the hands of individuals who ultimately became Masterbuilders. In 1992 there was no distinction between Teambuilt and Masterbuilt Custom Shop instruments. Perhaps John English, Fred Stuart, and John Page worked on this early Custom Shop model? This instrument is a TONE MONSTER! The sound is thicker and warmer than a normal Fender Stratocaster. It’s a great combination between a Gibson Les Paul and a Fender Stratocaster sound. Most any desired tone can be dialed in. The action is low, and the frets have no wear. This twenty-nine (29) year old instrument is in excellent condition with virtually no use. It is a NAMM 1/1 build. The item “1992 FENDER STRATOCASTER CUSTOM SHOP ULTRA SET NECK (NAMM 1/1)” is in sale since Friday, January 15, 2021.
