The American Vintage II Series features authentic neck profiles from Fender’s past. Crafted at our Corona, Calif. Manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender American Vintage II 1973 Stratocaster guitar neck features a’73 “C”-shaped profile and 7.25-radius round-laminated rosewood or maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-tall frets. The large’70’s headstock and 3 bolt neck design with Micro-TiltT mechanism add the finishing touches to this vintage-style neck. The bone nut is pre-slotted with “pilot” string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing and a gloss polyurethane finish offers a vintage feel. This replacement neck is the perfect way to give your Strat® an authentically’70s feel. This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier® by Fender guitar. Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. The item has a great vintage look from natural player wear. Has “4-22-87″ written on the heal. V025806 (From the original neck plate, but not present on the neck). Maple with scale of 25.5. Comes with Nut, Truss Rod, String Tree, and Frets. He headstock edges have dings around them. The back of the neck has dings and finish wear. The fretboard also has finish wear. The frets were replaced at some point. The first two frets have some fret wear. Otherwise the neck is in good condition. Please Note: Unless mentioned otherwise under the condition section, the neck is straight. With no cracks, breaks, or pitting to it and the frets have no wear.
