Genuine WD Music Fender. Replacement Stratocaster® neck, 22 medium jumbo frets with headstock adjust double action truss rod and a 12 inch radius rosewood fingerboard. The nut width is 1 11/16 inch wide and pegholes are drilled at 10mm for a modern die cast type tuning machine but adapter bushings are available to reduce these hole sizes if you would like to mount vintage tuning machines. A thin clear satin finish makes this the perfect replacement for your modern Stratocaster®. Fingerboard Radius = 12 in. Nut Width = 1 11/16 in. Profile Shape = Modern C. Fret type and count = 4049 Vintage Jumbo – 22 frets. Tuner peghole size = 25/64 in. Neck Finish = polyurethane thin. Truss Rod location = headstock. Skunk Stripe = none. Neck and Fretboard Type = maple on maple, rosewood on maple, pau ferro on maple, or ebony on maple. Heel Type = Standard Stratocaster 2 3/16 in. Orientation = right hand. Truss Rod Adjustment Tool (Not Included). Allen Head Necks = 4mm. Straight Head Necks = Standard Straight Head Screwdriver. All necks require a minor level and polish and may need to be fine-tuned for your instrument. This is perfectly normal and not a defect. Because of the variety of set up preferences out there, we leave that to you. WD contemporary style (22 fret) necks have a double action truss rod which adjusts both front and back bow while the vintage necks use a vintage-correct heel-adjustable single action truss rod which adjusts only 1 way. All necks should be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modification as the neck is rendered non-returnable once altered. All wood is considered unique with individual growth patterns. Some necks may have minor grain variations due to the organic nature of wood. These are not seconds or “blems”.
