Genuine WD Music Fender® Licensed Replacement 22 Fret Maple Strat Neck Soft V profile SNSVM NEW. Replacement Stratocaster® neck with a unique combination of vintage and modern features similar to the Eric Clapton signature series neck including: Maple neck with 22 medium jumbo frets, 10 inch radius, 1 11/16 inch nut width, a comfortable soft’V’ profile and a satin clear finish. Maple finger board with a rosewood headstock adjust truss rod location and 8.8 mm peg holes drilled for a vintage Kluson tuning machine as nature intended. All necks require a minor level and polish and may need to be fine-tuned for your instrument. This is perfectly normal and not a defect. Because of the variety of set up preferences out there, we leave that to you. WD contemporary style (22 fret) necks have a double action truss rod which adjusts both front and back bow while the vintage necks use a vintage-correct heel-adjustable single action truss rod which adjusts only 1 way. All necks should be carefully inspected prior to installation and/or modification as the neck is rendered non-returnable once altered. All wood is considered unique with individual growth patterns. Some necks may have minor grain variations due to the organic nature of wood. These are not seconds or “blems”. Please contact customer service if you have any questions or concerns about your neck when it arrives. Some neck pocket modification may be required. Fender American Vintage’57 reissue Stratocaster Neck 1986 USA Made. Frets have some normal playing wear. Professionally fret recently with the same, vintage style frets that original came with it. Great shape with plenty of life! Fret board has some natural relic/ play wear. When refret, the luthier lightly recoated the fret board with a thin coat of Nitro (see pics). Ome wear to the nitro finish at the top/ back of the neck & edge from natural playing. Natural checking at headstock and back of neck.. Tuners were replaced with relic’d Kluson. Deluxe single line tuners… With plenty of life left on it! These 1986 necks from the new Corona factory, have a similar feel as the Fullerton Reissues. It is said, some of the necks from.
