I added used Fender tuners but never did anything else with it. It’s an MIM and has a satin finish on the back like the American Pro II necks. It’s wider than my liking. The nut width is 1 3/4. Of course the heel width is Fender standard.

Necks have a serial number starting with US and 7 digits… They also have dark clay dots on the frets and a strap button on the back of the headstock… Take a close look, everything is clearly visible in the photo. Therefore, there are doubts that it was produced in the United States.

Limited Run neck, 2001 50th anniversary Bass (butterscotch one). Frets were leveled by Wanderkauven Guitars 10/23. Loaded with original Tuners. Graphite rods/rolled fingerboard edges, truss rod turns both ways and sets up well. In good shape but does show some nicks/scratches. The previous owner sanded the finish off the back but it feels like it was coated in gun oil or something similar because it isn’t bare wood. Up for sale is a Fender American Classic 50s Precision bass neck. The neck is a factory blem with USED stamped on the headstock and part of the serial number removed. This indicates a defect of some kind. Functionally, the truss rod turns and when loosened, the neck is straight. When tightened, the neck has a moderate back bow. I have not strung it up so it may have fine tuning issues.

1976 Fender Precision Bass Neck in Maple. Not a single dead note. Plays best with medium action. The nut is brass. The blemishes/scratch on the back of the neck is only on the surface and does not affect playability one bit! There’s minor chipping at the 4 bolt screw inserts but it does not affect the stability.
