This body does not have a finish on it. It has been sanded to 220 grit. This body will fit either an Original Floyd Rose (OFR) or a Gotoh Floyd Rose (GE1996T). The bushing holes are predrilled for OFR style stud bushings (10mm diameter). A Gotoh type Floyd Rose comes with 11mm bushings. We can open up the holes to accept the 11mm Gotoh bushings, but you must message us immediately after purchasing if you need the bushing holes opened up. If you are unsure which bridge you want to use, or forget to message us to open up the bushing holes to accept wider, Gotoh bushings, the Gotoh Floyd Rose will function properly if used with 10mm OFR style bushings. The Stewmac Part # for the 10mm OFR style Studs and bushings is #2155. The use of 32 or 33mm sustain blocks will be required. The stock, 42mm sustain blocks can technically work, however they will stick out of the back of the guitar and you will not be able to use the spring cavity cover. The use of any other bridge other than an Original Floyd Rose or Gotoh Floyd Rose will likely require modifications by a qualified technician to work.
