This listing is for one (1) Guitar Mill brand late 1950’s style reissue Stratocaster neck. Here are the specs. Curved bottom vintage correct nut slot. Vintage correct Riftsawn rock maple shaft. Heel adjust vintage style truss rod (actual vintage compression style, not self contained). Heavy fretboard roll (feels super comfortable). Nut width- 1.655. Heel width- 2.186. Tuners: Kuson style with stepped drilling for bushings. Will accept older Gotoh vintage bushings as well as current. Guitar Mill necks have a reputation of being pricey and you have to wait months. So my first question was “what are they doing that makes them worth a premium over Warmoth, or Musikraft necks”. The bottom line is they pack in substantially more human labor. The rolling of the fretboard edges is superior to Musikraft. It looks and feels more in line with a Fender Masterbuilt guitar. Musikraft starts the job, but needs a little refinement. Guitar Mill also gives the frets a full fret dress, which none of the major do. That means you will have optimized frets to get the lowest action. My only criticism is there are still some fine scratches in the frets. Easy to work out, and will need attention after clearcoating, but still notable. You can feel the extra work that went into this neck. It feels smooth, soft, almost warm. About 3 years old now, so the wood has had time to further stabilize and experience a few seasonal changes. Needs a finish, nut, and drilling for parts.
